We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team. This crucial role involves ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications to our inpatients, contributing significantly to patient care. Key responsibilities • Accurately dispense medications as per physician prescriptions and hospital protocols. • Provide comprehensive medication counselling to patients and their caregivers regarding dosage, administration, potential side effects, and storage. • Maintain precise inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiry dates. • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies. • Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain detailed patient medication records. • Handle and store controlled substances in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Qualifications • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from a university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. • Valid registration with a State Pharmacy Council or the Pharmacy Council of India is mandatory. • Prior experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting is preferred, but freshers with a strong academic record are also encouraged to apply. • Excellent knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient safety protocols. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
